So, What's the Scoop?

About Me...

It's awesome to finally have my own site; I've been searching for a host for awhile, and it's about time I found a cheap one! The main purpose for this site is to advertise my book "Fiddle Faddle"; a collection of 102 short stories about every subject you can imagine. You're probably wondering how an someone can write so many stories about so many things. Well, before I tell you about my book, let me tell you a little about myself.

My pseudoname is Kellie Queen, but my real name is Kelli Jo Isaak. I am an twenty-year old college student with very low (20/200) vision. As a visually-impaired writer, I've got an extremely vivid imagination, which I believe is a great gift because I'm not athletic at all. Apart from writing, I love reading and playing computer games in my spare time. I've been researching the writing/publishing industry for about two years. In that period of time, I learned that writers usually have another job, apart from their writing. Since I love working with computers, I'd like to train to be a graphic designer/commercial artist. This knowledge will also help me in promoting & marketing "Fiddle Faddle".

ABOUT THE BOOK

Like I said before, "Fiddle Faddle" is a collection of short stories about various subjects. For example, there are a couple stories that're somewhat sequels to William Golding's "Lord of the Flies"; Ralph and Jack, the main characters from the origional novel, have been adopted .In the first story, Jack starts causing problems for Ralph and their adopted family. In the second, he is sent to a boarding school in order to learn some manners. If you are interested in reading these two stories, I'm sure a lot more will peak your interest, as well.

An disadvantage to having such a variety of subjects is that you may like some, and you may not. That's OK, though! I put all my stories in one collection knowing that people won't like all of them unless they like to read anything fiction. If you don't like what you're reading, you can skip right to the next one without missing anything. That is, unless there's a sequel to that story.

Now that you know a little about me and my work, enjoy the rest of the site! While you're here, please make sure to read my latest bulletin; I might have to switch to another publisher. The reasons are too complicated to explain, but things haven't been going well lately.
